Our Services
Tests for Adults
Our hearing tests aren’t confined to a “one size fits all” approach, but are carefully designed to match each individual. We will assess your individual needs before selecting the most appropriate test for you.
Tests for Kids
We assess children of all ages. Children under the age of three are required to see our Paediatric specialist, Kerryn, at our Duncraig clinic. Children above three years of age can be assessed at any of our clinics.
Workcover Tests
Our Audiologists are accredited by WorkCover WA to perform Noise Induced Hearing Loss Assessments. Our booths are WorkCover approved for audiological testing.
Rebates
Medicare rebates are available for adult & children hearing assessments with a GP referral or medical practitioner referral. Certain private health insurers also provide a rebate.
Who is a Hearing Test Suitable For?
Hearing tests are suitable for people of all ages. If you notice that you’re struggling to hear, booking a hearing test is a great idea. Your Audiologist will complete a full assessment, share the results with you, and work with you to achieve your hearing goals and improve your quality of life.
Children are screened at birth and again at four years of age; this is to ensure that they can hear well for speech and language development. It is recommended that children who show signs of hearing loss visit an Audiologist for a comprehensive hearing assessment.
People who work in noisy environments for prolonged periods of time (e.g. factories or construction sites) may be eligible for a Noise Induced Hearing Loss Assessment. This helps to monitor hearing levels, and ensures proper compensation by programs like WorkCover WA.
